The Teenage Market 29th July 2012

We carried on the Respect theme at the Teenage Market today (29th July) and had many more people give us answers, which we stuck to our display board. We'll be using the display board for the starting point for a project with young people around anti-bullying, anti-discrimination and most of all, respecting one another.

Here are some of our photos from the day:

We're starting some work on tolerance, anti-bullying and anti-discrimination in some of our projects and so this is a great way in to thinking about how we can respect one another better.

National Markets' Day 23rd June 2012

We do a lot of work with the Teenage Market in Stockport, and often have a stall when they are promoting the Market. A few weeks ago, we celebrated National Markets Day and asked Stcokport people, "What's your favourite thing about Stockport?" Here's a selection of photos from the day...

Welcome to The Gate!

Hello and welcome! This is the new general space for The Gate. We'll be keeping you up to date with what we're up to and with some of the wider themes running through our groups and projects. For the individual projects, you can check the links to their own blogs. We will sometimes post links to interesting things going on, as well as things to inspire and encourage young people.

Over time we'll add different elements to this space, so do keep checking back!
